Introduction Artists usually attain their artistic creativity by engaging with a variety of resources, of which studio space is one of the critical factors. A studio space is considered to be the fundamental locus where artists go to attend class or make their works of art. The impact of studio space on artistic practices is more accentuated in academic institutions, where universities and colleges usually provide the artists with studio spaces to hone their creative skills. This literature review with APA in-text citation will explore the research that has been conducted on the impact of studio space on creativity and its impact on artistic practice at Chinhoyi University of Technology. Impact of Studio Space on Creativity According to research, the studio is considered to be the birthplace of artistic creativity (Dunlop, 2018). Studio spaces that cater to the needs of artists promote creativity as they offer them a secluded environment away from the distractions of everyday life. Typically, studios are designed to be well-lit, spacious, and provide adequate working conditions for artists to thrive.
